We will be viewing The Tree of Life (2011), directed by Terrence Malick. This film weaves together a modern retelling of the story of Job, questioning God amidst the experience of evil and suffering; a poignant meditation on sin and grace, lost innocence and forgiveness, the Cross and the Tree of Life; a vision of the universal creation and the place of the human within it longing for redemption.
